Words from our founder

Welcome
I C Publishing, founded in 2010, is a Canadian company bridging the gap between traditional and self-publishing. We offer customized support to heart-centered business experts, wellness coaches, spiritual mentors, and educators in various fields. We specialize in non-fiction including health and wellness, inspirational, self-help, memoir, business, and special interest categories; and our services include high quality professional editing and proofing on manuscripts and blogs, creative/writing coaching, and publishing. We bring to the table a wealth of entrepreneurial, marketing, and business experience to add to the support and mentorship we deliver.

The Hearts Linked by Courage Project

The Hearts Linked by Courage Series supports the important work of the not-for-profit sector in their ongoing efforts to inform our communities about each worthy cause, their good news stories, and their challenges.

“Sheri was available to us every step of the way—answering questions, providing advice, and working with us and our authors to ensure their stories were told in a way that honoured their person and the journey. The finished product was delivered on time and on budget and is everything we wanted.”

Alzheimer Society of York Region

“Hospice Georgina’s Hearts Linked by Courage book was such an impactful project! It allowed stakeholders to come together, for individuals to have their voices heard, and to celebrate 20+ years of work in the community. Grateful to have been able to undertake such a worthwhile venture.”

Marie Morton
Executive Director (past), Hospice Georgina

“I C Publishing is not just about the business of publishing; their true calling is one of inspiring people and improving society. Their values are very much in line with those of CMHA! I highly recommend them to any social service organization that is interested in producing a quality book that speaks to inclusion and inspiration.”

Neil Howard
Director of Programs (retired), CMHA York and South Simcoe

Testimonials

“My children’s book, Hay Day, hit store shelves in November 2017. Sheri and the I C Publishing team were absolutely instrumental in making it happen. Sheri self-managed the project from start to finish with a close eye on every last detail. From endless consultation, to sourcing an illustrator, editing, printing, and everything in between, I C Publishing is truly a one-stop shop. I would highly recommend Sheri and I C Publishing for anyone looking to tell their story and turn their idea into a reality!”

– Bill E. Hutton
I C Publishing Author, Hay Day

“Sheri and her team were a joy to work with. Professional, prompt, helpful, and very skilled. They helped me shape my ideas, while also making sure my own voice was retained and nurtured. The result—Raising Resilience: Take the stress out of feeding your family and love your life—is a book I’m very proud of.”

– Jess Sherman, MEd, RHN
I C Publishing Author, Raising Resilience

“From the bottom of my heart, thank you doesn’t seem to be enough. I am so grateful that Sheri and I C Publishing took a chance on me and this little story, Sweet Honey Kisses for an Anxious Bear. Thank you for walking me through the publishing process for my first book and for making it very straight forward. The team that collaborated to put this book together was remarkable. From choosing the illustrator, the designers, and Sheri herself, I always felt supported through their invaluable expertise and kindness. I am forever thankful to Sheri and the entire and I C Publishing team. 💗”

– Christine Fishman
I C Publishing Author, Sweet Honey Kisses for an Anxious Bear

“Without you, Sheri Andrunyk, and the I C Publishing team, this book would have stayed a wonderful set of artwork and great prose in a Word document, not this beautiful book. You possess a wealth of knowledge, integrity, and an understanding sense of the creative process. It was a pleasure working alongside of you and I look forward to continuing this relationship.”

– Jenna Stewart
I C Publishing Author, There is This Place

“Sheri, thank you so much for all of your hard work and guidance… You are a true gift and I am forever grateful.”

5 Reasons to Have Professional Photography for Your Book Publishing

1. “You only get one chance to make that first impression.” Especially true of your business portrait or “headshot”. A headshot created by a professional photographer should represent you the way you want clients to see you whether that’s confident, funny, poignant or got-it-going-on! The headshot on your book cover should attract people to your book rather than have them thinking, “ouch, looks like that’s a self-portrait” or “too bad about the shadow”. You’ve gone to all this effort to have your literary work-of-art published… go the last mile and have the headshot that will grace its cover done right.
